Zum 3. Mal haben sich Echokardiographeure aus vielen Teilen der Welt zum 3D-Workshop in Berlin getroffen.
Mit der stetigen Verbesserung der 3D-Echokardiographie ergeben sich neue Anwendungsfelder und Möglichkeiten in der Diagnose und im Therapy Guiding von Herzinsuffizienz und bei Erkrankungen der Herzklappen. Mehr als 150 Ärztinnen und Ärzten aus allen Teilen der Welt haben an zwei Tagen vor Ort und online mehr als 13 Vorträgen auf Basis aktueller europäischer Leitlinien gefolgt.
Unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung von Dr. Nicolas Merke und moderiert von interdisziplinär besetzten Panels wurde der Stand der Technik präsentiert, Anwendungsfälle und Fallbeispiele diskutiert und praktische Tips und Tricks ausgetauscht. Der dritte Tag der Veranstaltung galt der praktischen Arbeit an GE EchoPac-Workstations mit einem klinischem Schwerpunkt auf Erkrankungen der Trikuspidal- und Mitralklappen. Das wissenschaftliche Programm stand unter der Schirmherrschaft der europäischen Fachgesellschaft European Society of Cardiology (ESC), der European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging und der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kardiologie sowie der Global Society of Cardiology (GSoC).
Ein besonderer Dank gilt unserer international besetzten Faculty, sowie den Unternehmen GE Healthcare, Abbott, Edwards und Novartis für die Unterstützung des Workshops. Wir freuen uns darauf, die internationale Community der 3D-Echokardiographeure auch im kommenden Jahr in Berlin begrüßen zu dürfen.
3D echocardiography community meets in Berlin
For the 3rd time, echocardiographers from many parts of the world met for the 3D workshop in Berlin.
The continuous improvement of 3D echocardiography opens up new fields of application and possibilities in the diagnosis and therapy guiding of heart failure and heart valve diseases. More than 150 doctors from all over the world followed more than 13 presentations based on current European guidelines over two days on site and online.
Under the scientific direction of Dr. Nicolas Merke and moderated by interdisciplinary panels, the state of the art was presented, applications and case studies were discussed and practical tips and tricks were exchanged. The third day of the event was dedicated to practical work on GE EchoPac workstations with a clinical focus on diseases of the tricuspid and mitral valves. The scientific program was held under the auspices of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, the German Society of Cardiology and the Global Society of Cardiology (GSoC).
