Severe cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency and their treatment options with transplantation and mechanical circulatory support are among the most complex and exciting areas of thoracic medicine.
In recent years, there have been some groundbreaking developments that we would like to discuss and classify with you, both scientifically and in a practice-oriented manner. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with specialist colleagues, gain new perspectives and deepen your knowledge in these important areas.
For 2025, we have set the focus of the program in four thematic blocks on the areas of transplant immunology, rhythm management, evaluation of complex (concomitant) morbidities and organ donation after circulatory death.
Together with you, we would like to make a contribution to shaping the future of thoracic organ transplantation and the treatment of severe heart and lung failure.
