The on-demand basic course “Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Basic Course” is designed for all cardiology, radiology and cardiac surgery colleagues who wish to acquire and deepen their knowledge in the field of cardiovascular CT.
The course is recognized for the additional qualification in cardiovascular computed tomography of the DGK.
In lectures by recognized experts and a total of 50 case analyses, this course provides knowledge about the indication, important physical, cardiological and radiological principles and the procedure for the interpretation and reporting of cardiac computed tomography.
Impressive technical developments in the field of cardiac computed tomography and convincing scientific evidence of the use of the procedure for the non-invasive assessment of the coronary arteries in coronary heart disease and for the anatomical and functional assessment of the heart place this method at the forefront of diagnostic instruments in cardiovascular medicine.
The course program is organized under the scientific direction of the German Heart Centre at the Charité, a DGK-accredited center for additional qualification in cardiac computed tomography.
In this course, we will provide you with all the necessary theoretical knowledge together with 50 clinical cases from practice, so that after completion you will be entitled to apply for the additional qualification in cardiovascular computed tomography level I.
After booking the course, you will receive access to our online learning platform where you will find the video lectures. Your access to this on-demand course is limited to 3 months and will be automatically deactivated thereafter.
Successfully passing the final test and completing the evaluation are prerequisites for receiving the course certificate.

You book access to the basic Level I kCT course on this website and receive personalized access to our learning platform immediately after booking.
Learn the basics of cardiac CT through video lectures with built-in case databases. Your access to this on-demand course is valid for 3 months and will then be automatically deactivated.
After reviewing all materials, you will be be given access to the final learning success check, which consists of 10 multiple choice questions, at least 7 of which must be answered correctly.
After completing the case database, the learning success check and the evaluation, you will receive a certificate of participation with which you can apply for the additional qualification (Level I) from the DGK. The training course is recognized by the Berlin Medical Association with 9 CME points.
