March 14 - 15, 2025
Much has changed in recent years in both the diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases and, last but not least, the aorta also received a lot of media attention in 2024 when it was declared an organ for the first time.
The classification of the aorta as a separate organ, which not only has a distribution function of oxygenated blood, sums up the many new findings on the structure, physiological function and pathogenesis of this largest circulatory organ.
We are pleased to be able to give you an insight into the basics of this new classification of the aorta. From the molecular and genetic basics to endovascular and open surgical therapy and all areas of thoracic aortic diseases, we will present you with interesting lectures and life-in-the-box demonstrations.
You will then have the opportunity to gain your own practical experience of the surgical techniques in the hands-on workshops using simulation models under the personal guidance of highly experienced surgeons.
Register now – the number of participants in the hands-on workshops is limited.
Here you will find further details on the content of the symposium.
